Global Data Management and Standards Business Operations is looking for talented and motivated students for summer internships. Selected individuals will support strategic and operational projects related to process, quality and technology in clinical data management and standards. Working alongside experienced members of the team, the successful candidate will assist with special projects, analyze and evaluate data, processes and policies, and propose innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness across Global Data Management and Standards. Clinical Data Management is the practice of defining, designing, implementing, investigating, cleaning and ensuring that data collected in support of the needs of a clinical research trial satisfy the analysis and reporting requirements necessary to satisfy the regulatory requirements of the planned Clinical Study Report. As part of the Global Data Management and Standards organization, the Business Operations intern position will expose the student to a deep dive into the discipline of Data Management with a focus on process and quality as well as offer exposure to various other disciplines in the practice of Clinical Development. Business Operations supports the GDMS organization in the areas of Portfolio & Resource Operations, Project Management, Change Management, Communications, Learning & Development and Metrics/KPIs. Summer students will get exposure to each of these areas as they work across Global Data Management and Standards.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a full‑time undergraduate degree program, in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) or similar major. Candidates must have completed at least two (2) full years of an undergraduate degree prior to the start of this position.
Salary range: The salary range for this role is $39,908 - $111,111 USD FTP2027 RL2027
