Program Overview

Summer Analyst – Financial Advisor Development Program (FADP)

As a Summer Analyst in the Financial Advisor Development Program, you will participate in a nine‑week introductory program that provides a detailed view of J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. The program is designed to deepen your investment knowledge and skills through hands‑on experience and structured training. You will be supported by a dedicated program manager, mentors, and senior leaders invested in your success.

Program Experience

During the internship you will gain exposure to client service, investment fundamentals, and professional development opportunities. Successful completion may lead to an offer for the full‑time program, which includes a 21‑month client‑service experience and intentional development to transition into an advisory role.

Job Responsibilities
  • Learn the fundamentals of working with clients in a service‑oriented role.
  • Learn the foundations of the investments we offer through in‑depth industry training.
  • Receive dedicated time to study for and take the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam.
  • Participate in group projects and job shadowing opportunities.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • A well‑rounded academic background with an interest in providing exceptional client service and financial advice.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Relevant internship experience or leadership in school or community organizations.
  • Highly motivated individual with a passion for client service, an interest in financial advising, and a desire to obtain and pass the FINRA SIE.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment, but also work well independently.
  • Ability to use interpersonal skills to successfully build relationships over the phone and in person with others.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Pursuing a B.A. or B.S. degree, with an expected graduation date of December 2027 through June 2028.
  • Experience in finance or other finance‑related courses is a plus.
  • Preferred minimum GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0.
