Markel Corporation is offering a paid internship for full-time work from June through August at our Richmond, VA headquarters. Interns are responsible for housing themselves during the internship.

The program spans accounting, finance, global procurement, global disbursements or internal audit, with real deliverables and team goals, giving rising juniors and seniors hands-on experience in a Fortune 500 insurance environment.

Qualifications

• Current college student with rising juniors/seniors preferred.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Demonstrated leadership and analytical abilities.
• Proficient with computers and software as needed.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Program design:

• Paid internship for full-time work from June through August located in the Richmond, VA headquarters
  • Please note: Interns are responsible for their own housing for the duration of the internship. Markel does not currently provide housing for students.
• Multi-faceted, providing opportunity to work within the accounting, finance, global procurement, global disbursements or internal audit departments of Markel

Pay information:

The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. The salary range for the position is $24-$28.50/hr.
