Job summary

Cooley LLP’s Fund Formation practice group in San Francisco is recruiting 3L law students (JD 2027) to join the entry level class. This is an opportunity to work with a market-leading fund formation team and a 60+ lawyer bench focused full-time on fund formation and counseling.

Strong writing and communication skills are essential, and prior corporate or transactional experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing, oral communication, and analytical skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Ideal candidates will have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.

Cooley LLP’s Fund Formation practice group is recruiting 3L law students (JD 2027) to join the entry level class in our San Francisco office. We are recruiting 2027 JD graduates for this position. Recruiter submissions will not be accepted.

Candidates should demonstrate: Excellent writing, oral communication, and analytical skills are essential. The ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Prior corporate or transactional experience is helpful but not required. Ideal candidates will have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.

The annual pay for this position is $225,000.
