Linde plc invites applications for the 2027 Entry Level Industrial Engineer – Leadership Technical Orientation Program (LTOP). This 52-week curriculum provides broad exposure to plant operations across air separation, hydrogen, and other product lines, starting around July 1, 2027.

You will participate in hands‑on startups, shutdowns, maintenance, project planning, and daily plant support, operating equipment from control systems to field devices, while developing leadership and cross‑functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering (GPA ≥ 3.0)
• 0–3 years of internship/co-op experience in related fields
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and relocate as needed

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 52‑week structured curriculum across plant operations
• Hands‑on activities including startups, shutdowns, maintenance, and project planning
• Operate process equipment through control systems and in the field
• Monitor efficiency, energy consumption, and operating modes for optimization
• Support QA programs, regulatory compliance, and daily plant operations

2027 Entry Level Industrial Engineer – Leadership Technical Orientation Program (LTOP)

• Youwill participate in a fifty‑two‑week structured curriculum designed to givebroad exposure to plant operations across multiple product lines includingair separation, hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, helium, raregases, and standard plants. The estimated start date for the 2027 LTOP program will be on or around July 1, 2027.
• You shall engage in hands‑on operational activities such as start‑ups,shutdowns, maintenance, project planning, training, troubleshooting, safetyprogram execution, and daily plant support
• In this role you will operate process equipment both through the controlsystem and in the field including motors, compressors, pumps,instrumentation, and utilities such as electrical, water, steam, andinstrument gas
• Take responsibility for monitoring efficiency, assessing energy consumption,optimizing operating modes, and implementing changes to improve overall plantperformance
• Additionally, support quality assurance programs, ensure regulatorycompliance, assist distribution and operations personnel, and executeprojects consistent with budgets and operating schedules
• Furthermore, collaborate with process engineering, project engineering,controls, maintenance, reliability, safety, and operations teams whilegaining mentored leadership development throughout the program

What makes you great

• Youwill hold a Bachelor of Industrial or Chemical Engineering with a grade point average of3.0 or higher strongly preferred
• You shall bring zero to three years of experience supported by internshipor cooperative education roles that demonstrate strong technicalcapability
• In addition you should communicate effectively, build productivecross‑functional relationships, and adapt quickly to shifting operationalneeds
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems independently,and drive tasks to completion with strong attention to detail
• Additionally, show proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointwhile applying analytical skills to technical and operational challenges
• You are willing and able to travel up to twenty‑five percent to assignedplant sites and training locations and open to relocation as required forprogram assignments
