Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12-week summer internship program for current Bachelor’s or Master’s students in Mechanical Engineering or related fields. Interns gain exposure to Product Development, Failure Analysis, Value Engineering, Design and Verification Testing, under leadership guidance.

Participants may interview for our Accelerated Development Program or direct hire opportunities, with senior leaders providing mentorship and networking throughout the program.

Qualifications

• This internship targets current college students pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Requires a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and US work eligibility without sponsorship.
• Demonstrates leadership through campus activities or work projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 12-week summer internship with assignments in Product Development, Failure Analysis, Value Engineering, Design and Verification Testing.
• Work toward interviewing for the full-time Accelerated Development Program or direct hire opportunities.

What you will do:

Trane Technologies’ early career student program internships provide current college students with challenging assignments, leadership training, valuable exposure to our company’s senior leaders and opportunities to network. Our 12-week summer internship opportunities offer candidates working toward their Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering exposure to a variety of assignments which could include: Product Development, Failure Analysis, Value Engineering, Design, and Verification Testing.

• Minimum Work Experience: At least one internship or work experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or leadership of work projects
• U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Compensation:

Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
