Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles in Augusta, GA, is seeking a data analytics intern to gain hands-on experience by validating data, building reports, and supporting data products with guidance from experienced teams.

You will work with Power BI, SQL, Python, and data storytelling tools, mentored by analytics professionals, and contribute to real projects that impact business decisions. This internship runs for 10 weeks with a prepaid stipend and opportunities for mentorship.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, CS, or Statistics.
• Foundational knowledge of data analysis concepts and statistics.
• Strong attention to detail and curiosity with data.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned data products by performing data validation and quality checks.
• Assist in documenting data products' definitions, rules, and usage guidelines.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand data structures, trends, and anomalies.
• Contribute to reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI, Fabric, Python, or R.
• Support the creation and maintenance of semantic models and basic data transformations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and use cases for data and reporting.
• Assist in preparing presentations and summaries of analytical insights for stakeholders.
