Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, UT is seeking an Associate Configuration Analyst to join the Defense Systems Sector. You will support project documentation, engineering data control, and coordination of change records to meet contract requirements.

The role requires completing or having completed a degree in a relevant field, with GPA 3.70/4.0, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance (Secret or higher). Prior security clearance is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Be completing or has completed their degree from an accredited institution.
• Majored in or currently pursuing majors in Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Supply Chain Management.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Preferred GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher.
• Current active Secret Security Clearance or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation to meet contract requirements.
• Reviews contract to determine documentation for each phase of the project.
• Analyzes proposed design changes for impact on product and system.
• Coordinates modification records for management control.
• Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation.

Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Configuration Analysts . This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Roy, UT.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD).

Basic Qualifications:

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution.

Be majoring in or having majored in Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Supply Chain Management.

Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Preferred Qualifications:

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher

Current active Secret Security Clearance or higher

Responsibilities may include:

Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.

Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.

Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.

Coordinates modification records for management control.

Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.

Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

Salary Range for Roy, UT:

$54,400-$81,600
