Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, UT, is seeking an Associate Configuration Analyst to join our Defense Systems Sector. The role supports planning and coordinating project documentation, contract changes, and engineering data control within SDSD in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualified candidates will have a degree in a relevant field and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance. Relocation assistance may be available and 10% travel required.

Qualifications

• Be completing or has completed a degree from an accredited institution.
• Majored in Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Supply Chain Management.
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation and schedules to meet contract requirements.
• Reviews contract to determine documentation for each phase of the project.
• Analyzes proposed changes to determine effect on product and system.
• Coordinates modification records for management control.
• Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation.
• Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with multiple teams.

Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Configuration Analysts .

This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Roy, UT.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD).

Basic Qualifications

• Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution.
• Be majoring in or having majored in Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Supply Chain Management.
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Preferred Qualifications

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher
• Current active Secret Security Clearance or higher

Responsibilities May Include

• Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.
• Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.
• Coordinates modification records for management control.
• Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.
• Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

Salary Range For Roy, UT

• $54,400-$81,600
