Western Alliance Bank is seeking an entry-level Credit Analyst for the Commercial Banking Development Program in Phoenix. The role focuses on spreading and analyzing financial data, preparing credit studies for senior staff, and maintaining records to support loan decisions.
You will work with the Data Management and Infrastructure team to design workflows, dashboards, and reports that improve risk assessment and client servicing.
As a Credit Analyst you'll be primarily responsible to spread, manage and maintain financial background information on present and prospective customers, and develop credit studies for the Loan Officers, Chief Credit Officer and other Executive Management. You'll manage spread assignments, conduct financial analyses, and maintain related records and files. One of your key responsibilities is the preparation of a variety of credit department reports.
The Specialized Lending Services - Data Management and Infrastructure (SLS - DMI) team is responsible for providing business technology and data support for multiple national business lines. The team is composed of business analysts and product owners who collaborate to design and manage efficient business workflows. They implement and maintain business technology solutions that provide workflows and generate comprehensive business and data reports. They provide valuable insights through data, documentation and analysis of the business processes, identifying areas for improvement. Furthermore, they create data dashboards for visualization and map customer journeys to understand experiences. This comprehensive support ensures that the organization operates smoothly and efficiently.
