Job summary

CESO, Inc. invites engineering interns/co-ops in Overland Park, KS to join a hands-on program across residential, energy, commercial and public projects.

You will work under guidance of engineering staff on rotating teams, contributing to drawings, data analysis, and engineering support. Eligible students are enrolled in engineering and have completed the first year; knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and related tools is helpful.

Qualifications

• Engineering student with at least the first year completed.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Visual Studio or SKM and MS Office.
• Strong written/verbal communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Learn processes, procedures and assist in preparation of various engineering designs
• Prepare and modify engineering drawings and diagrams using both manual and technical applications
• Generate and analyze miscellaneous technical data
• Provide engineering support assistance for quality issues
• Interface with civil, electrical engineering, architecture, clients and vendors
• Perform other project duties as assigned

Under guidance of the engineering staff, students will be assigned to various teams based on need and experience. You will have primary responsibilities that include:

Primary Responsibilities

• Learn processes, procedures and assist in preparation of various engineering designs
• Prepare and modify engineering drawings and diagrams using both manual and technical applications
• Generate and analyze miscellaneous technical data
• Provide engineering support assistance for quality issues
• Interface with other disciplines such as civil engineering, electrical engineering, and architecture, as well as clients and vendors
• Perform other project duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Engineering and completed the first year of college
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Visual Studio, SKM, and Microsoft Office Suite (training will be provided if needed for all programs)
• Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills required
• Demonstrates flexibility in acceptance of assignments and schedule
