• Support the sales team with quotes for design changes and prototype orders.
• Conduct market intelligence on global political, economic, and tech factors affecting the company.
• Assist Finance with customer account reconciliations and proposals.
• Assist Purchasing with vendor information for setup in Yazaki systems.
• Support HR by analyzing diversity data for improvements.
• Prepare daily market briefs with data analysis.
• Assist Sales Management with developing proposals.

Internship Overview

As a Business Intern, you can work closely with our experienced Business team on various projects. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable hands-on experience and exposure to different Business disciplines, including but not limited to:

• Communications
• Marketing
• Human Resources
• Finance
• Sales
• And more!

General Responsibilities Could Entail (depending On Role)

• Sales: Support the sales team. Responsibilities include quoting design changes and prototype orders to the OEM; help with large customer recoveries (tooling, expedited freight), work in internal systems to track quoted prices vs PO prices and identify/help resolve issues, work on new business quotes based on current customer activity.
• Market Intelligence: Research global political, economic, sociological, technological, environmental and legal factors that could impact the company
• Finance: Perform customer account reconciliations and present clearing proposals to next level management
• Purchasing: Contact potential vendors to get the minimum information needed to set up the new vendors within YAZAKI system.
• Human Resources: Analyze diversity data to help determine improvement areas
• Sales Management: Be involved in creating daily market brief (analyzing data and creating a proposal)
