BNY Analyst Program – Trading is a 24-month rotation designed to immerse students in trading workflows, risk controls and market structure. As a Trading Analyst, you will monitor activity, review pricing and execution details, and support reporting and issue resolution.

You will build data skills using Excel, Python, SQL and AI-enabled workflows, gaining exposure to cross-functional teams and the trade lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors.
  • Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027 (U.S.).
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.

2027 BNY Analyst Program – Trading

BNY’s Trading Execution/CIO Practice plays a key role in supporting the execution, processing and oversight of trading activity across a dynamic global marketplace. The Trading Analyst Program offers driven students hands-on exposure to the practice through strategic projects aligned to trade support, transaction processing, operational controls, client servicing and process improvement. In a fast-paced environment, analysts will gain insight into trading workflows and the trade lifecycle, support reporting, analysis and issue resolution, and build an understanding of market structure, risk management and the importance of accuracy, controls and cross-functional partnership.


What you will do
