Job summary

BNY is seeking participants for its 2027 Analyst Program – Risk and Compliance. The program offers 24 months of rotations across risk disciplines, with a structured induction, mentorship, and hands-on experience in governance and oversight.

Analysts will learn to apply risk frameworks, analyze trends, and support documentation that underpins compliance and governance across the firm, preparing for a long-term career in financial services risk management.

2027 BNY Analyst Program – Risk and Compliance

Risk & Compliance is responsible for establishing the framework, policies, guidance, and tools that support risk and compliance management across BNY. Led by the Chief Risk Officer, the function provides independent oversight, monitoring, and challenge of risk decisions and activities throughout the risk management lifecycle. Analysts gain hands‑on experience working with global teams across key areas such as credit, market, liquidity, technology, operational, compliance, model, and enterprise risk, while building an understanding of how strong governance and consistent standards support the firm.

Analyst Program

Our 24-month rotational Analyst Program is designed to set you up for success from day one. Program eligibility

• Enrollment in a 4‑year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business‑related and/or technology‑related majors preferred
• Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027 (U.S.)
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.
