EisnerAmper is seeking an Assurance intern to assist the assurance team with detailed verification procedures for client financial statements. This in-person internship requires you to work 24 hours over 3 business days and live within commuting distance of the assigned office.

Start is early January 2027, with a Winter Internship Program. Eligible candidates are pursuing accounting degrees, 0-2 years of public accounting experience, and are legally authorized to work in the United States

Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
• Pursuing CPA licensure; strong academic record preferred.
• Final Graduation Date between Dec 2027 and Sept 2028; strong GPA a plus.

What you'll be doing

As an Assurance intern, you will be working with the assurance team in performing detailed verification procedures necessary to perform examinations of our clients' financial statements. This includes both public and private client engagements. We're looking for someone who has: Have the availability to work fully in-person for 24 hours over 3 business days (Monday - Friday; 8 am - 5 pm) Live in commutable distance to your assigned office Ability to complete the entire Winter Internship Program starting in early January 2027

Basic Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing the following degrees/majors: Bachelors and/or Master's degree in accounting, or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
• 0-2 years recent public accounting experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred/Desired Qualifications

• Pursuing minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure (which may differ from the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam) in the state of your assigned office location
• Pursuing 150 academic credits or master's degree in accounting, or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
• Final Graduation Date of Dec 2027 - Sept 2028
• Strong academic track record (Minimum GPA: 3.0)
• Strong MS Excel and MS Word
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and with a team
• Great communication, leadership, and analytical skills
