The Analyst will be responsible for providing corporate credit analysis and transactional support within specific industries and product groups across Corporate Banking. The Analyst will work on credit analysis, financial modeling, conduct due diligence on new transactions and present proposed transactions to management and credit risk management. In addition to conducting due diligence, the analyst will also be responsible for understanding the company, industry, regulatory issues, relevant economic/political trends, to help tailor coverage and financing solutions to meet client needs. The candidate will interface with internal product groups and assist in creating marketing materials. The Analyst will also be responsible for on-going monitoring, including annual reviews, re-ratings of booked assets as well as portfolio reporting. Analysts work on a dedicated vertical within the Corporate Bank such as Consumer, Industrial and Telecom, Project Finance and Infrastructure, Power and Utilities, NBFI, Syndications, and Leveraged Finance Portfolio Management.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $115,000 for the New York, NY market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
