Job summary

Marcus by Goldman Sachs offers a nine to ten week Summer Analyst Program for students pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree. You will be fully immersed in our day-to-day activities.

As a participant, you will attend orientation, receive training designed to help you succeed, and have the opportunity to work on real responsibilities alongside fellow interns and our people. Each applicant may apply to up to four business/location combinations in a recruiting year.

About the program

About the division

The Corporate Planning & Management Division unifies teams to deliver business planning and analytics, expense management, third party risk management, and governance strategies across the firm. CPM consists of 5 operating pillars; Finance & Planning, supporting the execution of the firm's strategic objectives through the management of the planning process and firmwide reporting and analytics; Product Finance, managing governance and accounting for the firm's non-compensation expenses; Spend Management including Sustainable Operations, managing all aspects of the firm's spend with third parties - advising commercial agreements and driving operating efficiency; Operational Risk and Resilience including Third Party Risk Management, driving firmwide Operational Risk programs along with second line teams and implements required changes within CPM; and CPM Engineering, providing engineering solutions that enable the firm to manage third-party spend, data and automation, plan budgets, forecast financial scenarios, allocate expenses and support corporate decision making in-line with the firm's strategic objectives.
