The Successful Manufacturing Engineer Intern Candidate will be assigned a variety and mix of different assignments every day. The Intern Candidate will be trained in skill sets that the student may have had previous academics / training but that would benefit the Student for strengthening and refinement, such as Six Sigma, LEAN and Technology 4.0.
The Manufacturing Engineer Intern-2 Candidate will be focused on the requirements of the New Design, Development & Launch of New Product Assembly, Electro/Mechanical Assembly, Test & Pack Operations. There will also be focus on the Vinyl Processing Equipment Requirements. The Intern-2 Candidate will be required to learn a variety of Assembly Processes, Test Processes, Machine Set-up & Operation Processes, required to develop and document Work Instructions, perform Time Studies, Capacity Studies and complete Material Handling and Work Station Layout Analysis.
Candidate for Associates of Science (AS) / Bachelors of Science (BS) Mechanical Engineering, AS / BS Industrial Engineering, AS / BS Biomedical Engineering, AS / BS Electrical / Computer / Electronics Engineering, AS / BS Information Technology.
Must be able and available to work full time at the Tolland factory 5-days per week, working in an Industrial & Manufacturing Factory and be able to lift 25-lbs.
