Job summary

New York Red Bulls are seeking a proactive Student in Sports Management for a role supporting SIS operations and stadium logistics during match days. You will assist with setup, breakdown, staging, and conversions, ensuring smooth event flow.

You must be able to work outdoors in variable weather, lift 50+ pounds, and maintain composure while coordinating with teams, officials, vendors, and internal departments. Evening and weekend shifts are included.

Qualifications

• Student pursuing a career in Sports Management or Event Operations; 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform moderate labor during an 8–12 hour event.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
• Demonstrated professionalism around pro athletes/teams and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily SIS operations and stadium setup, breakdown, staging and conversion for matches.
• Coordinate with Red Bull New York departments to support event planning and execution.
• Liaise with visiting teams, referees, league officials, vendors and partners to ensure needs are met.
• Fulfill additional assigned duties as needed.

Red Bull New York (MLS) Matches @ SIS, NJ/NY Gotham FC (NWSL) Matches @ SIS, RBNY II (MLSNP) Matches @ Montclair State University.

Support in daily operation of SIS, as well as stadium setup, breakdown, staging and conversion for matches.

Coordinate with other Red Bull New York departments to ensure successful event planning and execution.

Liaise with outside parties (visiting teams, referees, league officials, vendors, partners, etc.) to ensure all needs are met.

Other designated assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Student pursuing career in Sports Management and/or Event Operations, with 1-2 years of related experience.
• An individual with the ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform moderate labor over the course of a full event (8-12 hrs). Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
• Experience showing professionalism around pro athletes/teams, while maintaining composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions in a team environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines; accomplish work in order of priority; effectively multitask and deliver consistently at a high level.
