Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to support the Supply Chain Management team through data analysis, reporting, process documentation, and project support.

The internship runs from September 2026 to December 2026 (Fall 2026). It offers exposure to the beverage industry and collaboration across marketing, sales, and distribution. Weekly hours range from 20 to 40.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Analytics or related field.
• Rising Junior, Senior, or graduate student preferred.
• Strong Excel skills with formulas, pivot tables, and data organization.
• Experience with Power BI/Tableau/SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Supply Chain team with reporting, analysis, and project work.
• Gather, organize, and validate data from multiple systems and sources.
• Create and maintain recurring reports, scorecards, dashboards, and Excel tooling.
• Analyze inventory, logistics, sales, and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and analytics requests from Supply Chain leaders.
• Develop knowledge of Supply Chain systems, reporting tools, and processes.

Overview

The Supply Chain Intern will support the Supply Chain Management team through data analysis, reporting, process documentation, and project support.

The internship opportunity is designed to give students exposure to the beverage industry and broad experience in various aspects of the relationship between marketing, sales and distribution.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support Supply Chain team members with reporting, analysis, and project work
• Assist in gathering, organizing, and validating data from multiple systems and sources
• Create and maintain recurring reports, scorecards, dashboards, and Excel-based tracking tools
• Analyze inventory, logistics, sales, and operational performance data to identify trends and opportunities
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and analytics requests from Supply Chain leaders and business partners
• Develop knowledge of Supply Chain systems, reporting tools, and business processe
• Perform duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Rising Junior, Senior, or graduate student preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data organization
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new systems, processes, and technologies
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other reporting tools is a plus, but not required

Physical Demands

• Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine
• Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
