Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2026-2027 to design electronics from concept to prototype and to develop firmware for microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems. This paid, in-person 12-week internship involves cross-disciplinary collaboration to deliver functional products.

You’ll troubleshoot across electrical and software boundaries, using lab equipment and debugging tools, while gaining exposure to development workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Returning to school after internship to continue studies for at least one quarter/semester.
• Ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
• In-person 12-week internship in Summer 2026-27 in one of our offices.

We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 - 2027! This is a paid, in-person,12-weekinternship.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, PCB design, and system level integration.
• Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and software debugging tools.
• Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontrollers, embedded Linux systems, and supporting development & testing tools.
• Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products.
• Work in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer operated hardware.
• Concurrently manage involvement in multiple projects at various stages

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.
• Ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
• Ability to complete an in-person 12-week internship in one of our offices in summer 2026-27.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current-probes, and automation of tests.
• Familiarity with software development processes and tools such as git, Github, JIRA, etc.
• Familiarity with standard interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB, etc.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux development, including device trees, hardware drivers, bootloaders, and basic Unix/Linux tools.
• Exceptional organization and communication skills (both written and oral).
• Experience with Altium Designer or equivalent electronic design automation tools.
• Proficiency with common languages (C/C++, Python, Rust, Haskell, etc.)

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
