Job summary

Project 26 Pennsylvania (P26 PA) is organizing Pennsylvania students to challenge attacks on our futures and lead Gen-Z to influence the state's political landscape. We seek Campus Fellows to promote civic engagement and voter participation on Saint Joseph's University campus.

You’ll engage peers through canvassing, tabling, and club visits, helping register voters and plan events. The role is on-campus, hourly, with a 10–15 hour weekly expectation and peak periods around elections.

Project 26 Pennsylvania (P26 PA) is the home for Pennsylvania students who are ready to challenge the far-right's attacks on our futures and build a Pennsylvania where Gen-Z can lead and thrive.

In 2025 alone, Trump has signed over 200 Executive Orders that have directly impacted millions of Americans and led to:

• The loss of basic human rights and the separation of families due to unjust ICE raids
• A massive increase in the wealth of the top 1% at the expense of basic healthcare and unbiased public media funding
• An economy where tariffs and inflation is so high millions of people are working multiple jobs and still can’t pay their bills
• Widespread feelings of hopelessness and outrage amongst young voters

The outcome of Pennsylvania’s 2026 elections will determine the balance of power in the House which will influence the make-up of Congress, as some of the most competitive congressional races will happen in our backyard. Which will allow us to create a congress that can hold the President accountable to representing the people, not billionaires.

In 2026, young Pennsylvanians will have the opportunity to elect a Governor, who will be instrumental in standing up to a government that has constantly overlooked the youth. At an estimated 793,555 registered voters across the state, Gen-Z has the power to determine the outcomes of these elections–but only if we get organized now.

Since 2023, P26 has built a team of strong youth advocates for Gen-Z, and has worked to create a community for us in politics, through peer-to-peer outreach, —and we’re building a scrappy and innovative team that will organize and inspire thousands of PA youth to vote in both the Primary and General Elections in 2026.

What Will You Do?

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Engage students to promote civic engagement and emphasize the importance of their vote.
  • Fellows will talk directly to young people through: crowd/high-traffic canvassing, tabling, door-to-door canvassing (in dorms and off-campus), class/student club visits, and relational organizing.
• Facilitate conversations that encourage students to reflect on key issues (e.g., education, climate, jobs) and how elections directly impact their lives.
• Register students to vote.
• Plan and run engaging, student-centered events.
• Assist with registering P26 as an approved student organization on campus (if not already established).
• Coordinate logistics for campus organizing activities, including tabling, event space, and recurring meeting reservations.
• Leverage campus networks (friends, clubs, classes, professors, etc.) to collaborate on events, voter registration drives, and other opportunities.
• Support with data entry (as needed).

• Are enrolled at Saint Joseph's University. Non-students can apply to be a full-time Campus Organizer.

Position Overview:

• Location: Campus Fellows are expected to work in-person on campus.
• Compensation & Hours: Campus Fellows are paid an hourly rate of $18.00 and are expected to work a minimum of 10 and maximum 15 hours in a typical week.
  • During peak voter-education times, fellows will be expected to work additional hours. Examples of peak times include: two full weeks leading up to any election, Welcome Week on campus (the last two weeks of August), two full weeks prior to the voter registration deadline. These additional hours will be communicated ahead of time but applicants should plan accordingly.
