Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst for its Space Sector in Boulder, CO. You will set up cost control, monitor costs and schedules, and prepare budgets and analyses to keep contracts within agreed parameters.

You should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Business, 0-2 years of related experience, and the ability to obtain U.S. security clearance. SAP and Cobra experience are preferred; travel is 10% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Majored in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration / Management or similar field.
  • 0-2 years of related experience.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain Special Access Program clearance within a reasonable period.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
  • Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines.
  • Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
  • Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.
  • Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
  • Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures and submitting timely funding requests.
  • Incorporates contractual changes into control systems and maintains realistic baselines.
  • Process subcontractor invoices using the PLSC2 system.
  • Support earned value contracts by preparing reports for the program/technical team.

Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst. This position will be located at our Space sector in Boulder, CO.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Space Sector

Advanced Mission and Space Processing Unit.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
  • Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
  • Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
  • Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.
  • Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
  • Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
  • Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
  • Process subcontractor invoices using the PLSC2 system
  • Support earned value contracts by preparing reports for the program/technical team to analyze
Basic Qualifications:
  • Has completed their degree Bachelor's from an accredited institution
  • Having majored in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration / Management or similar field.
  • 0-2 years of related experience
  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
  • The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft suite tools
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
  • Experience with SAP and Cobra (earned value tool)
Salary Range:

$63,000 to $94,600

Primary Level Salary Range: $63,000.00 - $94,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
