This entry-level role is part of the Program Finance team and involves supporting earned value management, baselining activities, and financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree with 0–2 years of experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and must be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; 0–2 years related experience.
• Majored in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or similar fields.
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in program Earned Value Management activities per IPMR/IPMDAR data reporting requirements.
• Support baseline efforts and Initial Baseline Reviews (IBRs) with customers.
• Prepare EACs including earned value analysis, updates and revisions.
• Prepare financial data for internal and external customers with variance analysis and forecasts.
• Support internal and external audits for compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Operations, Engineering and Program Management.
• Maintain commitment to quality, compliance and internal controls.

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Financial Analyst. This position will be located at our Space sector in Chandler, AZ. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Strategic and Space Launch Operating Unit Program Finance team.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Actively participate in program Earned Value Management activities in compliance to IPMR/IPMDAR data reporting requirements; including preparation of earned value deliverables ensuring compliance, timeliness and accuracy.
• Support baseline efforts, and Initial Baseline Reviews (IBR’s) with customers.
• Preparation of EACs to include earned value analysis, hands-on EAC updates, and revisions.
• Preparation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts.
• Support internal and external support of compliance audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Operations, Engineering and Program Management.
• Maintain the highest level of commitment to quality, compliance and internal controls in adherence to company values and ethics.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• The candidate must have completed their degree Bachelor’s from an accredited institution with 0-2 years of related experience.
• Having majored in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or similar fields.
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
