Aufgaben

• Prompt and regular attendance.
• In person classroom instruction.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all student records, reports, and other documentation.
• Assists teachers with clerical duties, grading papers, preparing materials, typing and/or reproducing documents.
• Assists teacher with bulletin boards.
• Assist students with health care procedures including hygiene and daily care.
• Assist students with physical needs including but not limited to feeding, toileting, repositioning, and mobility as needed.
• Works with individual pupils and/or small groups to reinforce skills taught by teacher.
• Supervises groups or individuals at times when the principal deems it necessary for the teacher to be in a professional meeting or at other times designated by the supervisor.
• Accompanies groups on field trips under the supervision of the teacher when such trips are authorized for educational purposes.
• Assists teachers and the school program by helping with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
• Assists in supervising pupils before, during, and after school
• Attend professional learning and staff development activities as needed
• Performs such other assignments and duties as assigned by the supervisor and Superintendent of Schools

Ausbildung

Physical Requirements:

Able to perform routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities including:

Medium Work: Exerting 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds as needed to move objects.

Evaluation:

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the principal in accordance with the provisions of the Board’s policy on classified evaluation.
