Instructional Assistant/Personal Care LPN - Special Education

Location: Desert Shadows Middle School

9 months, 7.5 hours per day

Grade 26/Step 24: $27.37 per hour

Non-Interim Position

Dates: 10/23/2026 - 5/27/2027

This job reports to School Nurse. This job requires employee to ride to and from school with the student.

Essential Functions

Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.

Observe, record, and report to the school nurse the condition of the student including signs and symptoms, which may be indicative of a change in the patient's condition.

Provide for the emotional and physical comfort of the student.

Assist in the care of the student in accordance with the student's care plan.

Assist as needed with other students in program.

Other job-related duties as assigned.
