Nutrition & Wellness Student Worker
Location: Various PVUSD High Schools
Rate: $15.15/hour
Period: Breakfast and/or lunch period only
Position: Timesheet only, Temporary
Purpose Statement: Provide support to the food service personnel at assigned location with specific responsibilities for food service activities, food preparation, and compliance with the National School Lunch Program and mandated health requirements.
Reports to Kitchen Manager.
Work under direct supervision following standardized practices and/or methods; provide information and/or advise others; continual opportunity to impact organization’s services.
Physical demands include significant lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling; climbing; balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; fine finger dexterity. Requires 10% sitting, 30% walking, 60% standing. May be exposed to temperature extremes and risk of injury. Ability to lift 50 pounds required.
Job related experience desired.
High school diploma or equivalent desired but not required.
