  • Evaluates the educational program and/or student progress.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide a learning environment that allows students to succeed academically in accordance with system core values, goals and objectives. Implement an effective educational program for the assigned grade level and subject area(s) using the required course of study, appropriate resources and materials, and research-based instructional practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently hold or obtain an Advanced Credential from the National Institute for STEM Education or a National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) Certification in Science.
  • Must meet all requirements established by the Teacher Excellence and Accountability for Mathematics and Science (TEAMS) Program, including teaching approved TEAMS courses, maintaining an advanced credential, and completing 30 hours of highly qualified professional development per school year.
