New York City Department of Education on the Lower East Side is seeking a School Aide for the 2026-2027 year. Under supervision of the principal or a teacher, the aide relieves teachers from non-teaching tasks and assists with classroom and campus operations.
Responsibilities include supervising students during arrival, lunch, and dismissal; distributing textbooks and supplies; assisting with clerical tasks; coordinating lunch service; and supporting with bus arrivals and departures.
Monday-Friday. Hours vary by school. Minimum of 4 Hours per day, five days per week
