The New York City Department of Education is seeking a reliable school aide to relieve teachers of non-teaching tasks under supervision. Duties include monitoring students, assisting with lunch service, handling textbooks, and supporting clerical work.
This role requires good attendance, ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 10 lbs, and strong teamwork. Bilingual candidates may be preferred. Hours are Monday–Friday, minimum 4 hours daily, per bargaining agreement.
Monday-Friday. Hours vary by school. Minimum of 4 Hours per day, five days per week
