Overview

Teachers will utilize a variety of instructional techniques and learning opportunities to enable students to develop competencies and skills which will ensure student success in the assigned subject area and in society.

Qualifications

Education/Certification

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned

OR

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice related field

OR

• Have five years of full-time wage-earning experience within the past ten years in one or more approved occupations for which instruction is offered
