Beaufort County School District is seeking a Para-Professional at Davis Elementary. In this role, you will assist the teacher in maintaining an effective classroom environment and support student learning by working with individuals and small groups.
The position requires a minimum of an Associate's degree or 60 credit hours and skills in basic computer use and office operations. You will also help with classroom preparation, student supervision, and maintaining records.

Under direct supervision of the assigned teacher, provides assistance in maintaining a well‑organized, appropriate classroom environment conducive to teaching and learning.
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal, Superintendent or other district office administrator as designated by the Superintendent.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer operations and functions, use of the Internet and Microsoft Office applications, and skill in the use of general office equipment such as calculators, typewriters, copier, etc.
