Primary Purpose

The Computer Lab Aide is responsible for maintaining the operation of a computer lab; instructing students and staff in the use of computer lab technology and software applications; monitoring student activities while in the computer lab; and performing technological support for the campus during state testing.

Qualifications: Education/Certification

High school diploma or GED. 48 college hours required.

Special Knowledge/Skills

• Basic knowledge of computers
• Ability to schedule and plan opportunities for teachers and students to have dedicated computer lab time
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well with students

Experience

• One year experience working with children
• One year clerical experience

Salary
