Reports to: On-site Principal

Salary: Appropriate Placement on Teacher's Salary Scale

Starting Date: August 20, 2026

Location: Chignik Lake, Alaska

Qualifications: Education, Experience and Skills
  • Possess teaching certificate or willing to pursue a teaching certificate.
  • Familiar with a Standard-Based System.
  • Knowledge and experience with RTI/MTSS preferable.
  • Experience in a cross cultural setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including collegiality and collaboration.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, energetic and optimistic. Committed to Excellence!

Essential Job Functions
  • Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active, standards-based learning.

Salary

Accepting all teaching experience, both in and out of Alaska, for initial placement. Starting at $51,772 (BA+0yrs) to $87,272 (BA72/MA36+13yrs).
