Job Title: Athletic Intern

Reports to: Assistant Principal

The Springfield, Missouri Public School District is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Athletic Intern. The Athletic Intern will assist in the athletic program for the assigned sport in accordance with applicable rules and regulations, supervise students during all aspects of the program, use sound instructional techniques in overseeing program activities, and serve as a positive role model to student athletes.

Experience

Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility, required.

Education

High School Diploma or GED, required. Bachelor’s degree, preferred. Other education requirements are dependent upon position.

Miscellaneous Requirements

Background clearance, the results of which must be satisfactory to the District, required.
