Position description

The Department of Cognitive Sciences at UCI seeks Unit 18 lecturers for undergraduate courses during the 2025-26 academic year in areas such as:

1. Psych research methods/lab: research methods including observational, survey, correlational, quasi-experimental, and experimental; literature search tools; understanding primary research publications; data inference.
2. Experimental psychology/lab: experimental methods, A/B testing, experimental design, confounding, threats to validity, using R or JASP for statistical analysis.
3. Probability and inference: fundamentals of statistical models, especially linear models, with emphasis on understanding and model specification.
