Options For Youth (OFY) is seeking educators to deliver our data-driven instructional program to students in New York. Teachers will provide direct instruction for six hours daily and tailor lessons to ensure mastery of the Common Core Standards.

The ideal candidate holds a BA/BS and a CA single-subject credential with English Language Authorization (ELA), with experience using assessments to drive instruction and communicate with families.

• BA/BS Degree is required.
• CA Preliminary or Clear single-subject teaching credential with English Language Authorization (ELA).

Responsabilités

Pay Range:

$2,807.70 - $4,038.47 - Bi-Weekly – Depending on Experience

Our ideal candidate will:

• Deliver our educational program to ensure data-driven, results-based instruction for students in the implementation of the Common Core Standards. Teachers will be available to provide direct instruction to students for 6 hours a day.
• Teach for mastery of the Common Core Standards and is knowledgeable in Single-Subject content area and lesson plans, a differentiated curriculum to ensure student success.
• Use assessments and data to influence instruction for student success and keep grade, attendance, and retention records.
• Provide targeted interventions for special education students and English Language Learners.
• Participate in various community groups or functions, faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops and assist with state-mandated student testing.
• Meet with students and parents to discuss student progress and problems.

You’ll need the following minimum requirements:

• BA/BS Degree
• CA Preliminary or Clear single-subject teaching credential with English Language Authorization (ELA)
