Job summary

PCI Services, LLC is seeking dedicated general laborers to support various construction projects in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will assist carpenters, prepare work areas, load and unload materials, and ensure job site safety.

The ideal candidate must be at least 18 years old and capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 40 pounds. On-the-job training will be provided, making this position suitable for both beginners and experienced workers.

Job Description

• Assists carpenters by holding and securing lumber used in the build process; ensures lumber is level or plumb during installation
• Assists with building forms for pouring concrete
• Prepares work area by transporting needed tools and equipment from storage facility
• Loads and unloads building materials to be used on construction projects
• Builds and disassembles scaffolding, bracing, and other temporary structures used on construction sites
• Removes debris and possible hazards to keep construction sites clean and safe
• Digs trenches and holes needed in construction projects
• Keeps machines serviced
• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors, foremen, and carpenters
• Knowledge of carpentry and construction techniques and procedures
• On‑the‑job training offered
• This position is safety‑sensitive
