Verifies that all electrical equipment in the patient care area is in working condition i.e., nurse call, bed control, light bulb. Initiates work order via Housekeeping Supervisor to correct all deficiencies.12. Utilizes chemicals properly and safely in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and procedures. Operates equipment safely following manufacturer's and departmental operating procedures.13. Checks walls and carpets for soiled spots; washes walls, shelves and windows; dusts furniture and window sills.14. Provides spot cleaning of all spills and accidents. Notifies Supervisor if further assistance is required.15. Maintains work areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition; carries out all routine user upkeep of equipment and promptly reports mechanical failure to Facilities Management.16. May provide housekeeping services at off site locations and/or hospital locations.17.
