Job summary

Hayes Window Restoration in Minneapolis is seeking a Field Technician to restore historic windows on residential sites and in the shop. You will join a small team focused on quality workmanship, client satisfaction, and ongoing learning in a supportive environment.

The role offers a full-time year-round schedule with a competitive hourly wage ($23-28/hour) and quarterly bonuses, plus paid time off, holidays, health/dental reimbursement, retirement plan, and most Fridays off.

Job description

Location: Minneapolis/Saint Paul Metro Area
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:45 AM–4:45 PM; One Friday per month for staff meetings and professional development
Compensation: $23-28/hour (based on experience) + eligible for quarterly bonuses

Hayes Window Restoration is the leading window restoration company in the Twin Cities, dedicated to saving and restoring pre-1940 wood windows. As a Field Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in our restoration projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Restoring historic windows on residential project sites: Performing repair, restoration, and weatherstripping installation at residential job sites and occasionally in our shop.
• Collaborating with a small team: Working closely with colleagues to ensure high-quality results and continuous learning.
• Participating in comprehensive training: Gaining skills in all areas of window restoration through hands-on experience.

• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, lumber, and materials.
• Ability to perform all window restoration tasks on jobsite and in shop.
• Competitive pay: $23-28/hour, depending on experience.
• Eligiblefor quarterly performance bonuses.
• Paid Time Off/Sick Days: Accrual rate starting at 3 weeks for first year, increasing to 4 weeks after first year.
