Job summary

You will troubleshoot and repair motors, control devices and PLCs, perform preventive maintenance, and follow safety policies while rotating through multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Currently enrolled in a technical college Mechatronics or E&I program (second semester).
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and Continental will not sponsor relocation.
• Applicant must be willing to obtain forklift certification if required by site.
• Must be able to pass background and safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Receive training through a regionally accredited technical college program and additional work experience via daily activities while being mentored by qualified maintenance technicians.
• Tuition paid in full under the terms of the 2-year apprenticeship agreement.
• Troubleshoot and repair control devices and motors across 110 VAC to 4160 VAC and maintain power/lighting transformers.
• Repair relay/limit switch logic devices and electronic controls including PCBs.
• Troubleshoot, program and repair PLCs on the shop floor with plant service teams.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment and adjust as needed.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
• Follow all plant policies, safety policies, and environmental guidelines.
