Role Description

The 2’s Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY, responsible for the daily care and education of children around two years of age. This role includes planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons and activities that foster language, motor, cognitive, and social-emotional development. The teacher will supervise children throughout the day, maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, and support routines such as meals, rest time, and transitions. Daily responsibilities also involve observing and documenting developmental progress, communicating with families about their child’s experience, and collaborating with colleagues to align classroom practices with center-wide standards. The 2’s Teacher participates in staff meetings, adheres to licensing and health regulations, and contributes to a positive, inclusive learning community.
