Job summary

The LEEAP Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking a compassionate BCBA to provide comprehensive behavior analytic services within an interdisciplinary team. You will conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, supervise RBTs, monitor progress, and partner with families for real-world outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current BCBA certification and eligibility to supervise RBTs.
• Experience with pediatric clients, including autism and neurodevelopmental differences.
• Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based intervention strategies.

Responsibilities

• Assess behavior and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and other clinical evaluations.
• Develop and implement behavior intervention plans tailored to each child’s needs.
• Create individualized skill acquisition programs that are functional and family-focused.
• Supervise and mentor RBTs; provide training and performance feedback.
• Monitor data and evaluate progress toward treatment goals.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary care teams (SLP, OT, PT, Psychology).
• Provide training and support to families and caregivers.

About the Opportunity

The LEEAP Center is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and collaborative BCBA to provide comprehensive behavior analytic services to children and families in a supportive interdisciplinary setting. This role is ideal for a clinician who values both clinical excellence and meaningful connection with families and teammates.

The BCBA will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, supervising RBTs, monitoring client progress, and partnering closely with caregivers and other clinical professionals to deliver high-quality, family-focused care.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize evidence-based practices to assess behavior and develop individualized treatment plans for children
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and other clinical evaluations as appropriate
• Develop and implement behavior intervention plans tailored to each child’s unique needs
• Create individualized skill acquisition programs that are functional, ethical, and family-focused
• Supervise and mentor a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
• Provide RBT supervision, training, support, and performance feedback
• Monitor client data and evaluate progress toward treatment goals
• Collaborate with each child’s multidisciplinary care team, including Speech, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Psychology
• Provide training, guidance, and support to families, caregivers, and other professionals
• Implement positive, evidence-based reinforcement strategies
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation of services and client progress

Qualifications

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
• Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Experience working with pediatric clients, particularly children with autism and neurodevelopmental differences
• Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based intervention strategies
• Experience conducting assessments, building treatment plans, and supervising RBTs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and family-partnership skills
• Passion for interdisciplinary care and mission-driven pediatric work
