Job description

PrideStaff is seeking a 1st Sit-Down Forklift Operator for their production department in Corona, CA. This is a temporary-to-permanent position with a great company. Please see the job requirements below to be considered.

Pay Rate

$19.00 to $20.00

Schedule

5:00am to 1:30pm (possible 12-hour shift, 6 days a week)

Job Description

Operates a forklift to retrieve materials and supplies, keeping production supplied. Responsible for transporting, staging, and loading freeze-dried materials throughout production and warehouse facilities. Verifies and records incoming and outgoing shipments via paperwork and ERP system. Prepares items for shipment and production, ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.

Essential Duties
  • Transport, stage, and load materials using forklifts.
  • Verify and record shipments, prepare items for shipment and production.
  • Identify products and multiple lot codes; verify information against documents.
  • Stage products, verify temperatures, and ensure proper labeling.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Examine and route shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages.
  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials.
  • Understand quality standards and reporting requirements.
  • Use safety devices properly, such as lock-out procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Forklift Certification
  • At least 1 year of forklift or similar equipment operating experience
  • Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and operate a computer
  • Motivated, able to work independently and in a team
Physical Requirements

Must perform frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and fine finger dexterity. The job involves 50% or more sitting, walking, and standing. Work is performed in a warehouse environment with temperature variations. Visual and audio abilities are required. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs is necessary.
