Job summary

CDI custom curb adapters is the nation’s fastest curb manufacturer in the HVAC industry. We seek a skilled Welder to perform welding and fabrication tasks per engineering specs, reading blueprints and maintaining safety. Shift: 5:30 AM- 2:00 PM. Qualifications

  • Certified welder with ability to read blueprints and welding procedures.
  • 1+ year experience in welding/manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Proficient with MIG welding and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding of metal components using MIG per blueprints and work orders.
  • Prepare materials: grinding, cutting, fitting, and positioning parts.
  • Inspect welds visually to ensure quality and safety before next stage.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S principles.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and certified Welder to perform welding and fabrication tasks to assemble metal components and products according to engineering specifications. This role is essential for ensuring the structural integrity and quality of our manufactured goods. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various welding techniques, able to read blueprints, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace

Shift: 5:30 AM- 2:00 PM

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding of metal components and assemblies using MIG welding techniques according to blueprints and work orders.
  • Perform welding of metal components and assemblies using various techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG) as specified by blueprints and work orders.
  • Prepare materials for welding, which includes grinding, cutting, fitting, and positioning parts for proper alignment.
  • Conduct in-process visual inspection of welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards before moving to the next stage.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment, hand tools, and measuring instruments in a safe and proper manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company safety protocols and 5S principles.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (1+ year preferred) as a Welder in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proficiency in MIG welding is required; knowledge of TIG or Flux-Cored is a plus.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, symbols, and basic weld procedures.
  • Current or previous welding certification (e.g., AWS) is highly preferred, or ability to pass an internal weld test.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision measuring instruments.

  • Ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on occasion
