John Boos & Co. is seeking a dependable 1st Shift Warehouse Technician at our Distribution Center in Effingham, IL. You will efficiently move materials, pick and pack orders, and help maintain inventory accuracy to ensure timely delivery to customers.

The role requires basic math and computer data entry skills, familiarity with forklifts/pallet jacks, and the ability to stand for 8 hours with lift requirements up to 50 lbs. Safety and quality controls are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Basic math and computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment.
• Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, inspecting and verifying incoming goods against purchase orders or invoices; track stock levels.
