Job summary

Mom’s Meals is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support shipping/receiving, material handling, and inventory accuracy in a on-site facility. You will load/unload shipments, verify quantities, scan products, and contribute to a safe, organized warehouse environment.

Candidates should have forklift and scanning experience, be able to work quickly and safely, and show initiative with minimal supervision. Training for Mom’s Meals forklift certification will be provided after hire, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Forklift and scanning experience required.
• Mom’s Meals forklift certification provided after hire.
• Ability to work quickly and safely.
• Initiative and ability to work with little supervision.
• General understanding of inventory management.
• Good reading comprehension, basic math & reasoning, and basic data entry.
• Good time management and prioritization skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• May learn/use AX computer inventory system.

Responsibilities

• Shipping/receiving, material handling and movement, storage, and tracking of materials in warehouse and freezer.
• Verify incoming/outgoing quantities and descriptions of materials.
• Receive, load and unload within warehouse and freezer.
• Scan product to proper location.
• Report defects or discrepancies to Lead/Supervisor.
• Maintain First In/First Out practices.
• Operate forklift, scanners, pallet jack, ladders, scissor lift, and other warehouse equipment.
• Record product into AX/inventory system and load to cold storage as needed.
• Pull and slack frozen product for packaging line.
• Deliver labels, pallets, etc. to production areas as required.
• Monitor truck temperatures per SOPs.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and warehouse security.
