Job summary

Fabick CAT in Madison, WI is seeking a Stock Clerk to support daily warehouse operations. You will receive and count stock items, record data, pack and unpack goods, and store items in an orderly, accessible way while adhering to safety rules.

You will verify inventory against physical counts, report discrepancies, prepare parts orders for delivery to customers and Fabick technicians, and help keep the work environment clean and compliant. Training courses will be completed as required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.
• Accurately process, package and prepare parts orders for delivery to customers and Fabick technicians.
• Keep an orderly, clean, and safe work environment.
• Complete all safety and training courses as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
