Job summary

Staff Perm seeks a Warehouse Distribution Associate II for the 1st shift in Orlando, FL. This role involves receiving, verifying, packing, and shipping materials within a global manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include handling shipments, operating RF scanners, and using forklifts. High school diploma or GED required, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and passing background/drug checks are required. This is a contract position with a 5:00am–1:30pm shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in picking, packing, shipping and receiving.
• Proficient with RF scanners and basic warehouse software.
• Ability to operate forklifts; standup forklift experience preferred.
• Must wear steel toe boots and pass background/drug checks.
• Good reading, writing and numerical skills required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipment and receipt of materials, supplies and equipment.
• Receive goods, verify against records, and inspect condition.
• Pack items for shipment according to specs and transport method.
• Record received and shipped items using established procedures.
• Route materials to inspection or stock areas as needed.
• Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.
• Operate powered equipment such as forklifts as needed.
