Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Brewster, NY is seeking a Warehouse Associate for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:30am-3:30pm). You will operate scan guns, pick and prepare shipments, inspect equipment, and pull parts from inventory while adhering to safety and SOPs.

The role emphasizes accuracy, independent work, and continuous improvement within a dynamic warehouse. Prior shipping/warehouse experience and forklift operation on stand-up Raymond trucks are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping or a warehouse environment
• Forklift operation experience with stand-up Raymond trucks
• Knowledgeable on Export Orders
• Ability to work independently; strong math and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Operate hand held scan guns while picking orders for shipping
• Escalate safety issues to supervisor/EH&S coordinator
• Inspect equipment used per policy
• Identify and pull parts from inventory, including consignment locations
• Prepare items for shipment following SOPs and perform error-free transactions
• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities
• Prepare for cycle counting and understand transfers/restocking
